Mistakes Coaches and Trainers Make 3-29

I'm definitely not perfect.

The following is going to be an ongoing blog series where I discuss common mistakes that trainers and coaches make on a daily basis.  Maybe they apply to you, and maybe they don't.

But hopefully even if you aren't making these mistakes, you'll take away some tips that will make you a better trainer or coach in the long run.

One of the most common issues I see (especially with young trainers/coaches) is giving too much feedback to their client/athlete.  If they're coaching the squat, every rep sounds like this.

Random Friday 3-26-10

The Single-Leg Solution The Single-Leg Solution

It's been a while since we've had a Random Friday post, so I figured we might as well get one in this week.  Enjoy!

-  As you can see from the above, we're getting close on wrapping up "The Single-Leg Solution "project."  My boy James is working on the DVD, while I'm finishing up the first draft of the DVD.  And tonight, I send the first draft off to Nate Green for copyediting. RTS Updates March 2010

Updates Updates

I'll be honest - I can't believe the year is almost 25% over with!

- Blog Posts

For the next couple of weeks, I'm only going to blog 2-3x/week.  For the past couple of weeks when I've been writing 4 blogs and a newsletter weekly, and frankly, that's a ton of writing!

My goal is to get my Single-Leg Solution DVD and manual ready to ship before I go on vacation April 10th.  That way, once I get back we'll be ready to rock!

- Podcast interviews this week

As promised, In the Trenches Fitness will be cranking back up this week, and I'm interviewing some fantastic coaches! ...
