A while back, I wrote a blog/newsletter titled “The Future of RTS.” In that write-up, I essentially discussed my goals for the site (and myself) in the coming months and years. However, I forgot to put one thing in that I’m now regretting dearly.
My site is going to make you uncomfortable in the future. No, it’s not as painful as your yearly check-up or a cleaning at the dentist, but uncomfortable in the fact that I’m going to ask you to think.
The goal isn’t to create controversy, to roast sacred cows, or to make people angry. The goal in this case is to figure out what really works.
What are people in the real world doing to get results?
What diets and fat loss programs elicit consistent changes in physique and body composition?
Are single-leg lifts the be-all, end-all of training?
And that’s really just the beginning – the real question will be how far down the rabbit hole do we want to go.
So if you’re comfortable right now, chances are you won’t be in the coming months. I want to leave you with two quotes, from guys that I deeply respect and admire. Enjoy!
“Don’t just read the easy stuff. You may be entertained by it, but you will never grow from it.” – Jim Rohn
“Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.” – Brian Tracy
