Program Design Mentorship

Who Else Wants to Have More Confidence, More Free Time and Write AMAZING Training Programs for Their Clients and Athletes???

If you’re struggling even a little bit with your program design skills, let me tell you how I can help

I can’t tell you how many trainers and coaches I’ve talked to over the years who still struggle writing programs.

Whether they’ve been training clients and athletes for 2 years (or sometimes 20!) it seems many just aren’t where they’d like to be with their program design skills.

Sometimes they’re not confident in their approach.

Sometimes it’s just taking too damn long.

And sometimes they’re just flat-out not getting the results they want!

And trust me, I get it.

I’ve had numerous times over the years where I was in a programming “slump,” especially when I was trying to level up specific areas of my programs.

But a big part of the issue is too many coaches don’t have an overarching programming philosophy.

They rely too much on feelings – versus tried-and-true principles – to write their programs.

And more times than not, they’re simply listening to too many people who don’t know what the hell they’re talking about!

Which is where my program design mentorship can help…

I first ran these mentorships 6-7 years ago, and unfortunately due to my busy client schedule, I had to take a break for a couple of years.

But over the last year I’ve restarted the mentorship with all new materials, and I can tell you this…

…my program design mentorship is an ideal way to help you take your program design skills to the next level..

In this mentorship, we’re going to take a deep dive into the nitty gritty details and specifics of programming for clients and athletes of every shape and size.

While I’ve done my best to cover this in my various articles, videos and podcasts over my 20+ year career, it’s truly impossible to go as deep as I’d like without knowing where someone is starting from.

And that’s the exciting part about all this – I know that by applying, you’re truly serious about your craft and getting better.

“Yo Mike – How Will the Mentorship Help ME?!?!?!”

Here’s a brief overview of what you get when you apply for my Program Design Mentorship.

#1 – In-Depth, Masters-Level Content

The starting point for this mentorship is the content.

For the next six months, you’re going to get direct access to in-depth presentations on the ins and outs of program design.

Here’s a brief overview of the six modules:

  1. Understanding Movement and Building YOUR Training Philosophy
  2. The Building Blocks of Program Design
  3. Setting the Stage for Success: A Deep Dive into R1-R3 and R7
  4. Programming Speed, Power and Explosiveness
  5. Using Resistance Training to Get Strong and Improve Movement Quality
  6. Real-World Conditioning

As you can see we’ll cover all the aspects of program design, and make sure you’re locked in on each and every one of them.

But most importantly, I’m going to show you how to put all these pieces together – to write a seamless program that gets great results without overwhelming your clients and athletes.

And while I think the content alone will be worth the price of admission, I’m going to take it much further.

#2 – Monthly Q&A Calls

Each month we’ll have a 1-hour Q&A call on Circle (the platform where I host all of the content) to answer all of your questions.

Here, we’ll not only have time to answer questions from the content that was covered that month, as well as any specific questions you have with regards to specific clients or issues you’re struggling with.

#3 – Direct Access to Me

While a group Q&A is great, I realize that you might be shy, and/or don’t want to put yourself out there in a group setting.

To truly answer all your questions, I’m also going to give you direct access to me via text. Yes, you will have my real cell phone number and be able to ask me questions directly about your clients, athletes and programs.

This really allows us to dial in the process and help you get great results.

#4 – On and Off-boarding to Truly Customize the Process

Once you’re registered for the Program Design Mentorship, we’ll arrange a start-up call to see exactly where you’re at and what you’re struggling with. This way we can figure out where you’re starting from with regards to your program design, and what your specific needs and goals are.

At the conclusion of the program, we’ll wrap up with a 30-minute call where I’ll give you specific feedback on where you’re at, answer any final questions you have, and give you direction on how to continue growing and evolving.

As you can see, this is a step-by-step mentorship process that will ensure YOU get to the next level with regards to your program design skills.

I can’t tell you how excited I am about the mentorship, as well as the opportunity to work with you.

REAL Feedback from REAL Coaches…

One thing I take great pride in is the success of my mentees.

If you join the mentorship, I want it to be a truly transformative experience – one that will take your program design skills (and confidence) to all new levels.

So rather than talk about it myself, here’s some feedback from mentees who have already completed the mentorship:

I’ve learned from Mike for the last decade and a half when it comes to program design and coaching, and I’m still learning!

The R7 model is what we use, implement and teach our whole coaching staff as its helped us develop our team to become great coaches and programmers.

Mike’s program design mentorship is a MUST for any coach that wants to stand out with their coaching and results they produce and become elite at the craft.

– Luka Hocevar, Vigor Ground

When I have thoughts and questions about how to improve programming Mike Robertson is one guy who has been at the top of my list for over a decade.

From the R7 model to Mikes Influence on individualized training strategies, he’s someone who I can say without hesitation will make you a better programmer and coach.

– Andy McCloy, Body Creations INC

If you’ve completed The Complete Coach Cert you know that all of Mike Robertson’s products are top shelf, but his Program Design Mentorship is truly next level and nothing less than transformative.

You’ll take a deep dive into every aspect of the R7 framework from the underlying science, to structuring and customizing programs for any client-from children to professional athletes.

I’ve taken other con ed where they just provide generic programs to download and deliver to categories of clients – not very helpful.

Instead, Mike reveals his thought processes and strategies with real life case studies. Mike prepares you to write programs that address the specific needs of your clients and position them for successful outcomes.

If you want to truly apply your coaching philosophy within the R7 framework to program success for your clients this is the mentorship for you! It has definitely elevated my game.

I’m writing more effective programs in less time. I can’t recommend it enough!

– Sandy San Miguel, My Kid’s Coach, LLC

Mike’s mentoring is second to none! I would not have the confidence I do without Mike.

Personal training was a dream career of mine, but I didn’t feel confident in my abilities to provide quality programming for a variety of clients.

Mike’s mentorship gave me the confidence to write programs for everyone from gen-pop to athletes. He does this by teaching the principles of the “why” behind programming and exercise selection.

I now have an understanding of why I choose the exercises that I pick and their intended use. I’ve become more prescriptive with programs and give clients a balance of what they want and what they need.

Mike provides a wealth of knowledge and I always have the resources to go back to and reference if needed. He provides input for current clients and will answer all questions that come up.

If you’re on the fence, know that an investment in Mike is always a great investment!

– Chris Pragovich, North Carolina

I’ve worked in the fitness industry for nearly two decades. I’ve followed Mike and his work diligently all along. When I discovered that he offers a small-group mentorship program, I knew, without hesitation, that I’d learn a lot and develop even more by working with him this way.

Mike presents useful and relevant content from the get-go. He meticulously breaks down each fitness section and its components, to make it all easily understood. Now I’ve never felt more comfortable and confident applying the information to my existing skillset as a coach.

No matter how much information I had to absorb and apply or how busy my life was, because of Mike’s mentorship, I never felt overwhelmed or left behind. He always made himself available.

I would highly recommend Mike’s mentorship program to any fitness professional—up-and-coming newbies and veterans who’ve work in the trenches like myself. I can guarantee you that it’ll be one of the most useful and rewarding six months of your professional career.

– Andrew Zomberg

There are SOOO many positive aspects to Mikes program design mentorship, but I will touch on what I feel are the key points

1. This really could be the base course on  program  for university study in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, or physical therapy.

It has every base covered, and even leaves room for personal nuance as needed. I printed the modules out and created a book!

2. It is growing and evolving as Mike does, and Mike is learning and rubbing elbows with many top level people in our field.

3. You get lifetime access! The opportunity to learn just continues. This is just the start!!

I have taken this mentorship twice now, and can imagine doing it down the road. It has all of the bases covered when it comes to learning how to be a high-end professional.

– JR Glenn, Ohio

The RTS Program Design Mentorship has been instrumental in my development as a coach.

Not only has the mentorship help me design better programs for my athletes, but also help me build upon biomechanical and physiological principles that are simply not taught in most schooling curriculums or fitness certifications you can find online.

Mike provides detailed information in a way that is digestible and easy to understand, while challenging you to apply the information in ways that suits your own coaching and programming style.

I highly recommend this mentorship if you’re looking to improve your coaching ability, and ultimately take your client/athlete’s performance to the next level.

– Ross Eckert, Indiana

Mike is a great teacher. He offers the highest quality material with a personal approach.

He is quick to respond to questions and makes me feel valued as a student. The

RTS Program Design Mentorship is an amazing investment for anyone serious about taking their training to the next level.

– Rebecca Reed, Indiana

Mike Robertson’s Program Design Mentorship is one of the most valuable educational experiences I’ve had. The content runs deep—rooted in decades of real-world experience—but is presented in a way that’s incredibly practical and immediately useful. Whether you’re a yoga teacher like myself, personal trainer, or strength coach, you’ll walk away with tools that elevate your programming and your thinking. I will take years to apply its rich content.

Mike has a rare ability to make complex topics feel clear and approachable. The materials are excellently structured and easy to refer back to, making it a resource you’ll keep coming back to. Most of all, Mike’s down-to-earth style makes learning from him a real pleasure. Highly recommended for anyone serious about coaching

Frequently Asked Questions…

I train gen pop clients…will the RTS Program Design Mentorship help me?

This is a resounding YES!

First off, many coaches make the mistake of thinking that training gen pop clients and athletes are totally different – which is NOT the case.

Instead, this program is going to teach you how to run the coaching spectrum.

Whether it’s gen pop clients who want to play sports and be more active, to helping athletes return to play, or even helping high-level athletes achieve new levels of success, the principles you’ll learn here will help you write programs that work well across the training spectrum.

I’ve already done the Complete Coach Cert – how is this different?

The cert is a foundational course and is meant to give you a solid understanding of how I program and coach.

But the Program Design Mentorship is meant to be a deep dive into everything program design.

Not only will we get into the weeds with regards to the programming variables at play, but I’ll help you understand how to put all those pieces together.

After all, how do you write a program that addresses mobility, strength, speed, power and conditioning WITHOUT crushing your clients?

Or without taking 2 hours to get through?

Here we’ll not only have case studies that walk you step-by-step through my process, but you’ll also have direct access to me via the forum and Q&A calls so we can troubleshoot and answer any questions you might have.

Quite simply, this is more in-depth and with direct access, we’ll make sure you’re getting all your programming questions answered!

Is there a payment plan available?

Yep!

If you are accepted into the RTS Program Design Mentorship, you’ll be able to choose between a paid in full or monthly payment option.

I’m already super busy – how much time will it take to get through the materials?

Look I get it, we’re all busy.

However, I always tell people who are interested if you can invest as little as 1-2 hours per week into the mentorship, and then really work to apply the materials when you write programs, you’re going to be just fine.

But here’s another way to look at it…

…if you’re serious about leveling up as a program designer, can you afford NOT to take the time to go through this?

How many hours are you taking to write programs?

How much time could you save – and how much better would the programs be – if you could dial in with laser-focus on what’s most important?

Look it’s going to take a little bit of time and effort on your part, but I guarantee the results are worth it.

So please don’t wait any longer – if you’re serious about leveling up your program design game, apply for the RTS Program Design Mentorship TODAY!
