Do you realize the power of momentum?
When things are going good, you can’t be stopped! Your feel stronger and more energized during your workouts. Your professional life hits new highs. You feel more balanced and at peace with your personal life, too.
But what happens when momentum stalls? Or worse yet, slips in the other direction? The smallest inconveniences seem to mount into major obstacles. Getting the momentum back in a positive direction seems like an impossibility.
So what do we do in this situation? While we’d love to get back up to full steam ahead, it simply doesn’t work that way. You don’t push a boulder and immediately start sprinting. Rather, you have to grind it out and force the productivity. Once we get things rolling again, it becomes easier and easier to regain the momentum.
With momentum, when you’ve got it, do everything in your power to keep it rolling. Don’t let it stop!
If momentum has escaped you for the time being, realize that you can definitely get it back – it may just take a little bit more work than you realize.
