We’re going to stray from the typical newsletter format this week in lieu of all the updates that I have! We’ll be back with traditional content in a week or so.

NSCA Kentucky State Clinic
As I mentioned in a previous Podcast, I’ll be speaking at the NSCA State clinic in Kentucky on Saturday, July 18th. I think we have an amazing line-up of speakers, and I’ll definitely be looking for to attending!
If you’re interested, I’ve provided the seminar flier which is linked below.
Perform Better Recap
This past weekend, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Perform Better Summit in Chicago, Illinois. Like always, Chris Poirier and his team put on a top-notch event, and I think everyone walked out with more knowledge to help their clients and athletes.
If you’ve missed the first two events, there is still one more summit left this year. And, the location is probably the best! The final summit will be held in Long Beach, California, and you can find more information on this event by checking out the Perform Better website.
IFAST Internship and Job Opening
Just as a quick heads up, we have one final internship position to be filled for the Fall Semester at IFAST. If you’re interested, please forward your resume, cover letter, and a brief 500 word essay on why you’d like an internship at IFAST to [email protected]. You’ll need to submit these materials in the next two weeks to be considered for a position in the fall.
As well, we’re heavily considering bringing our first part-time staff member on in the next couple of weeks. Again, if this is something you’d be interested in, submit the same materials as mentioned above and we’ll fill you in on the details.
Girya Nation
One final comment and then I’ll wrap this up. I get questions all the time about some of the KB t-shirts people have seen in my RKC and training photos. My good friend and IFAST member Jason Thompson has a great site that features all these t-shirts and you can find them at GiryaNation.com.
If you are into kettlebells and want to show your support, definitely check the site out. I can honestly say some of the t-shirts are cool enough to be worn just about anywhere, not just the gym!
Have a great week!
Stay strong
