Instead of the Random Friday post, I’ve decided to change the theme up a bit. Instead, we’re going to do “What’s Going On”…a tribute to one of my favorite Soul/R&B singers, the incomparable Marvin Gaye.
– IFAST is growing by leaps and bounds. As many of you know, a few weeks ago we were named one of the Top 10 gyms in America. As well, out client base has essentially doubled since April, we’re in the process of bringing on our first part-time trainer, and have some solid interns we’re getting up to speed. Needless to say, life is good on this front.
– Along those same lines, Bill and I have really been refining our training process, and I think some of the stuff we do in the coming months/years is going to be very cool. If you are interested, definitely stay tuned for the 2nd Indianapolis Performance Enhancement seminar – we couldn’t make it happen in August as planned, but we’re shooting for either January 23rd or 30th of 2010. It should be quite informative.
– Assess and Correct is getting closer and closer to completion. I’ve been working a ton to pull the e-manual together, and I know Eric and Bill are working hard to get all the video segments in order and running smoothly. I can’t wait to get it out there, but at the same time I don’t want to rush the final product. Trust me: It will be worth it.
– The Podcast continues to improve. This week I’m interviewing the following coaches:
– Mike Irr – Strength coach for the Charlotte Bobcats
– Tim Vagen – Strength coach for numerous swimming champions
– Chris Mohr – One of the premiere diet/nutrition consultants in the country.
If you’re behind or haven’t had a look yet, be sure to check out all the episodes here.
– Training is going pretty well. I feel like my strength is coming back nicely, but I still have a few issues to work on. I’ll provide a full update once I finish up this first cycle of 5/3/1.
– Don’t forget about the RTS blowout sale – it ends tonight at midnight!
And to finish off, as promised, some Marvin Gaye….
Have a great day!
Stay strong
