Random Friday 6-4-10

Perform Better Chicago

Well it’s been at least a couple of weeks since we last had a “Random Friday” post, so I figured it’s time to get back in the saddle!

Here are my random musings and thoughts for the week…

*  If you haven’t checked out Eric Cressey’s recent series on elbows, this is must read material!

I can’t 100% comment on it yet, though. I’ve scanned all the materials, but instead of reading it post-by-post, I’ve actually been cutting/pasting it into Word so I can print it out and read it all at once.  Kind of like Christmas in June for an anatomy geek 😉

Regardless, here’s the link to Part 6, where you can also find links to all the previous posts:

*  Another blog I’ve been reading lately is Charlie Weingroff.  Charlie is one of those uber smart guys that you may not know about, but he’s slowly growing a web presence and he’s got some fantastic stuff on his blog.

Be sure to check out Charlie’s blog if you get a chance.

*  As many of you know, I’ve got three presentations coming up in the next 3.5 weeks.   Luckily for me, I’m not traveling all over the country this time around!

Here are the presentations/topics, just in case you’re interested:

  • A webinar (which will be part of a lower-extremity series) on the hip and pelvis.
  • How to modify your assessment, coaching and programming in a bootcamp to get superior results. This will be given in Louisville at the Bootcamp Bootcamp seminar.
  • Finally, Perform Better Chicago will wrap up June. There I’ll be giving my presentation on the Single-Leg Solution.

Needless to say, it’s going to be a hectic couple of weeks but I’m really excited and hoping people will get a lot out of these seminars.

*  I know I’ve been rambling on and on about this new site lately, but I’ve gotten a taste of it over the past few days and it’s going to be SWEET!  I’m not kidding guys; the site is going to be such more interactive, and so much more user-friendly, I can’t wait to get it up and running so we can all enjoy it.

Regardless, I’m hoping I’ll have definite word in the next week or two.  Stay tuned!

That’s it for this week.  As always, thanks for your support and have a great weekend!

Best

MR
