Balance – it’s one of those concepts that’s easier said than done. And I should know, I strive for balance, but there are absolutely times that I suck at it.
However, this weekend is one of those times I’m going to work really hard to achieve it. I spend countless hours in the gym working with clients, training myself, or developing content for my site.
This weekend, it’s about me, my family, and my friends.
I love this time of year because I always spend this weekend with some of the people who are closest to me. We get together, share some laughs, and have quite a bit of fun.
If your life is a little out of balance, use this weekend to bring things back into perspective.
Spend time with a friend or family member.
Take a step away from work for a couple of days.
If it’s been two years since you took a training day off, maybe do that as well.
After all, sometimes it’s NOT keeping your nose to the grindstone that pays off.
Sometimes, taking a step back allows you to take 2 or 3 steps forward.
