The IFAST Basketball Off-Season Program

I created the IFAST off-season basketball program for younger, developing athletes that I simply can’t work with on a regular basis.

Whether it’s due to time, geography or anything in between, the fact of the matter is I can’t train everyone personally.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t use my SYSTEM to help your athletes get the most out of their bodies!

The IFAST Basketball Off-Season Program is a 3-month (12-week) training program that will cover every facet of athleticism.

  • Speed,
  • Strength,
  • Power,
  • Conditioning,
  • Mobility,
  • Biomechanical alignment,
  • Movement efficiency,
  • And everything in between!

Too many S&C programs assume the work you put it in the gym will magically translate to the court – and that’s a dangerous assumption to make.

But that’s why I’ve dedicated an entire section of my program to improving basketball specific movements, such as:

  • Improving your first step and ability to blow-by defenders.
  • Enhancing your lateral quickness and agility so you can lockdown an offensive player.
  • Developing vertical power and explosiveness off one- and two-legs.
  • And building your brakes so you can lunge stop, close-out, and plant-and-go more effectively.

Think of this program as the physical qualities you need to be more athletic combined with the movement skills you’ll need to translate that work onto the court.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how each training block looks.

Month #1 will be used to get your body moving the right way and feeling great. Here we’ll start by building your foundation, teaching you fundamental movement skills, and improving your posture and alignment to give you the tools to be successful for the long haul..

Month #2 will be focused on building strength and developing power. The first month laid the foundation, and now it’s go time!

Our goal here is simple: To build a bigger engine so you’re faster, stronger and more explosive than ever before.

And Month #3 is putting the icing on the cake. The final phase of our program is about making sure you’re fast, explosive and powerful heading into pre-season.

The IFAST Off-Season Basketball program consists of 3, 4-week training programs (12 weeks in total).

No stressing, no guessing – I’ll take you step-by-step through the next 12-weeks of training, to make sure you’re following a great program that’s guaranteed to get you results.
