It was a great weekend here in Indy.
We had the privilege of having Tony Gentilcore come into town, who is probably one of the best trainers in the Boston area. As well, Chase Karnes was someone who I had talked to from time to time online, and he came into town as well. As I mentioned on Friday, it’s great to surround yourself with other motivated coaches and trainers.
Saturday was a little slower than usual, as many of our usual Saturday suspects came in on Friday. We still had a ton of great people in, and we got to finish the afternoon off with a killer training session. My day included trap bar deadlifts, chest supported rows, KB snatches, some split stance cable lifts, and a medley combining pulling the Prowler with a 50′ foot rope, and then sprinting back with it. Needless to say, it was a great workout.
We finished the night off with a ridiculous meal, even by my standards. If you are a meat-a-tarian, you absolutely, positively must check out Fogo de Chao. With 13 different cuts of meat coming your way non-stop, it’s impossible not to walk out without a serious bloat. It’s hard to imagine, but I think all 8 of us got our monies worth.
We’ll be back to our regular content tomorrow. Have a great Monday!
Stay strong
