Todd Bumgardner is a guy who I’d heard about for a years, but didn’t actually meet until this past January at a seminar here at IFAST.

Needless to say, he’s a guy I have a ton of respect for and who is doing things the right way.

Now let me tell you something up front – this is a really good interview. We cover topics like the importance of environment, the three types of people you’ll encounter in the gym, and Todd’s thoughts on internal versus external cuing.

There are some really great nuggets in here, and I hope you enjoy the show.

  • Thoughts on how you interact with people, and why just like cues are different, how you interact with people must be different as well.

  • The Great Debate: What’s better – internal or external cuing?
  • His thoughts on why environment is such a critical factor in your success, and how to build a better environment in your gym.

  • The BIG Question.
  • A solid lightning round where we discuss his biggest influence in our industry, the book(s) he’s reading right now, what’s next on his continuing education radar, and what’s up next for both BSP Nova and Strength Faction.
