Back in my powerlifting days, I thought if you weren’t doing heavy bench, floor, or dumbbell presses, well, you just weren’t training hard enough.
But with time, age, and hopefully a little bit of humility, I started to see the benefits you can get from incorporating push-ups into your routine.
More core and trunk development.
A better ability to reach and move through the scapulae.
