Today we’re going to talk about in-season lifting. For many years, lifting in-season was vilified…but should that have been the case?
Too often, as the competitive season goes on we see lean body mass and force production go down, while overall fatigue and the risk of injury go up.
So if you’re working in sports, how can you make sure that your athletes keep their body feeling good WITHOUT beating them down in the process?
While I can’t possibly go through every scenario, here are a few examples to get you started.
