Before I get started here, let me say this: Eric, Bill and I all created Assess and Correct. This blog post is about why I, personally, wanted to create the product.
When Eric and I created Magnificent Mobility, we didn’t really know what to expect. We knew we wanted to create a resource that people would find easy to use and understand. Most importantly, we wanted to create something that would keep people healthy.
As I’ve mentioned numerous times before, the response to M2 exceeded our every expectation.
A few months later, I really started hanging out with Bill more, and he mentioned how he had some great exercises and progressions for the upper body as well. While M2 was a great product, there wasn’t nearly enough upper body exercises and progressions when compared to the lower body.
We learned a lot in filming and producing M2. Some of the major issues people had were that they didn’t know what exercises to use, or how to arrange them into a program. With Inside-Out, Bill and I took you step-by-step through a warm-up progression that anyone could use prior to a upper body workout.
The issue that we kept coming back to, however, was that we couldn’t individualize the products. This was really annoying to us, as we all know that the best way to get immediate and long-lasting results is to individualize a program to someone’s specific needs.
And that, my friends, is what got us fired up about Assess and Correct.
Here are just a few reasons why Assess and Correct is superior to its predecessor products:
1 – There’s an assessment component, so you can determine exactly what you need to work on and address.
2 – It’s not just a collection of exercises. Once you determine your specific limitations, you simply plug and chug your results to develop a warm-up routine that’s specific to you.
3 – Even more importantly, there’s progression involved. You wouldn’t squat 225 or bench 135 forever and expect to get better. Your warm-up is no different. With A&C you not only know where to start, but there’s built-in progressions to follow as your movement improves.
Quite simply, we’ve done our best to take what I feel were really good products in M2 and I/O, and turn them into one amazing product with A&C.
Next up in the blog roll, I’ll explain who might still find value in MM and I/O.
Stay strong
