10 Most Popular Products of 2011

Last week, I gave a recap on my most popular blog posts of 2011.

Sticking with our “year-end” theme, here are the 10 most popular products that I’ve featured over the past year.

RTS Products

Assess and Correct

Assess and Correct is THE premiere product yet again this year.

Quite simply, this will work for anyone and everyone. If you want to move better, feel better, and have a legit, dialed-in warm-up when you walk in the gym, Assess and Correct is where it’s at.

Furthermore, A&C is fantastic because the tests allow you to determine exactly where your weaknesses are, and gives you strategies to correct them.

Complete Core Fitness

When you realize that crunches, sit-ups, and all the other crappy “core training” exercises aren’t worth your time, you need to check out Complete Core Fitness.

Quite simply, this is my A-Z explanation as to why you should train the core like I do.

In this webinar series, we cover the functional anatomy of the core, testing and assessments procedures, and most importantly, exactly what exercises you should choose to bulletproof your core and keep your back healthy to boot.

Bulletproof Knees and Back Seminar DVD’s

If you work with clients and/or athletes for a living, you owe it to yourself to pick up a copy of the BPK&B seminar DVD’s.

This is everything I know about knees and backs, crammed into two-days of lecture and hands-on seminar fun. We’ll cover the functional anatomy, assessments we use at IFAST, but most importantly, you’ll learn how to program for and coach effectively someone who is suffering from knee and/or back pain.

The Bulletproof Knees Manual

The original Bulletproof Knees manual is STILL one of my most popular products, with almost no real marketing behind it.

Why?

Because it gets results – that’s why!

If you’ve suffered from knee pain for any extended period of time, the BPK manual goes to great lengths to explain why people suffer from knee pain, and what they can do to remedy it.

Non RTS (But Still Awesome) Products

Show and Go

If you want an Eric Cressey program, without paying the Eric Cressey custom rate, you need to check out Show and Go.

With four-months worth of training templates for you to follow, this is a fantastic product and one that you can continue to build into your annual programming for years to come.

Fitness Business Blueprint

If you own a fitness business, or you want to own a fitness business in the coming years, this is an absolute must-have.

In this series, Eric Cressey, Pat Rigsby and myself take you step-by-step through the things you need to know if you want to open a successful fitness business.

And trust me – there’s a HUGE difference between being a great trainer/coach, and running a great business. I can tell you that first hand.

Peak Performance Seminar

Joe Dowdell and Mike Roussell are two wicked smart guys with a ton to offer. They’ve not only worked with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, but they’re both constantly learning and evolving their approach as well.

If you want to learn from two of the best, be sure to check out their Peak Diet and Program Design Summit DVD’s.

Muscle Imbalances Revealed Upper and Muscle Imbalance Revealed Lower

This year, Rick Kaselj launched Muscle Imbalances Revealed 2.0: Upper Extremity. Smart guys like Dean Somerset, Tony Gentilcore, and Jeff Cubos all contributed to make this a really solid product.

The original MIR 1.0 (lower extremity) was pretty darn good as well. With the likes of myself, Bill Hartman, and others, you can’t go wrong with either of these products if your goal is to learn how to train smarter and stay healthier in the process.

Rehab = Training, Training = Rehab

While I’m open to learning from anyone and everyone, there are definitely some people we tend to gravitate towards.

Whether it’s their message, their background, or their experiences, some people we just instantly jive with.

For me, one of those people is Charlie Weingroff.

Charlie has been successful working with clients and athletes of all shapes and sizes, and at least in my opinion, he is someone you should want to learn more from.

Period.

Counting Reps to Counting Revenue

You can see the evolution of the training industry as more and more people want to become entrepreneurs and work for themselves.

As a result, you’re seeing more and more fitness business products.

This offering from Rachel and Alwyn Cosgrove is outstanding. I took away pages upon pages of notes, and I’ll always be indebted to Alwyn for helping me get my business off the ground.

So there you have it – my 10 most popular products for 2011.

Did I leave anything off the list?

Something that you would like to see or learn more about?

If so, leave your comments below. Thanks!
